Song Notes: I do not know anything about The Black Arabs. In fact, I'm assuming/betting they're not a real band. But in this, the last track on here, and probably the first or second (after "All You Need Is Love") that I'd cut, it's from the Sex Pistols' The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle album, and one of the first Sex Pistols albums to come out after the Sex Pistols blew up. And, well, what it is is actually pretty clever and amusing—it's a disco medley of a bunch of Sex Pistols hits -- "Anarchy In The UK", "God Save The Queen", "Pretty Vacant" and "No One Is Innocent". You know, if you couldn't tell from the title. It's well-done, and as I said, clever—it's just that it kind of wears after a few times. Also, it's right after a couple Pet Shop Boys songs, and as such, since it's kind of in that dance vein anyway, it ends up being sort of pale in comparison since the Pets are kind of the kings of that sort of thing. But it is an amusing enough thing, and it's kinda fun to hear once in a while if you've never heard it before. I've never seen the film that the record was a tie-in with (I should get around to that sooner or later), so I don't know if this was in the movie, but I'm kinda figuring it probably was. If anything, like, during the credits or somethin'. But I don't know. I should probably get around to watching it. I would like to see it, just never been in the mood. Though there is that new DVD reissue, so... - Rev. Syung Myung Me
