Big Country is a Scottish band, which had success from the 1980s. The characteristic two-guitars sound of Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson added a melodic Scottish character to the music. After the death of Stuart Adamson the other band members have been involved in other projects. Since the beginning of 2007 is Big Country active again and find a number of performances in which bassist Tony Butler acted as lead singer for a short time. Strengthen by the end of 2010 singer Mike Peters (The Alarm) and guitarist Jamie Watson (the son of Bruce Watson) the band followed by a short tour follows. The cooperation like it so well that on August 29, 2011 for the first time since 1999 new material of Big Country comes out, the single "Another Country".
