Daniel V. Snaith used to be known as Manitoba until Handsome Dick Manitoba of The Dictators threatened to sue him over it. So, he changed his stage name to Caribou. He's a one-man band out of Ontario (not Manitoba) and does electronica, and is working for his Ph.D.
