Deep Purple in Rock

Deep Purple in Rock is the fourth studio album by British hard rock band Deep Purple, the first in the most successful composition, the MK2-composition.

The taping of this LP take place in three Studios: The Lane Lea Studios, Abbey Road Studios and in the IBC studio. The album is a huge success, the timeless hit Child in Time , this LP released. The next album that is released is not the next recording, Gemini Suite Live is first recorded, but only years later (1993) released.

The cover was inspired by Mount Rushmore monument and let see the faces of the band members, Grand carved into rock.
