One stepped on another way of award points. Each country had 10 jury members who give three points to their favorite song, on their second favorite 2, etc. The points were then summed for each country, and the song that had the most points, that country's got 3 points, that with the second largest number of points 2, and the song with the third greatest number of points 1. [1]

Score keeping[Edit][]

The score was kept on a scoreboard that hung in the Hall. The Board appeared on the scoreboard last year. The participating countries were French on the Board. Behind each country was the number of the occurrence. For each country, the total points and before that was the title of the song with the number of the action again. The given items were equal to the total of the country totaled. During the voting, the presenter on the stage, cant for the scoreboard. An arrow for the country name to which country had the highest number of points. The arrow was manually moved.

Votes[Edit][]

The juries were called up in reverse order of occurrence. Giving the points went in ascending or descending order of occurrence. This was obviously not agreed and differed by country. The representative of the country called the song, country and the number of points in the English or French. The host repeated this in French, regardless of thelanguage in which the points were given. The runs were not repeated in another language. In French the word pointsthe host used. Interestingly, almost all countries also spoke French, countries that actually always in the English points, such as Netherlands and Finland.

Decision[Edit][]

After points of France Spain stood on 24 points. There were two juries to go, but no country had enough points to France with a maximum score twice to catch up.
