Trivia[]
- "The Nebraska Song" from the 1997 album Six Days on the Road was written as a tribute to Brook Berringer, quarterback for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who died in a plane crash in 1996 shortly before he was likely to be drafted to the NFL. The song is track #18, the same as Berringer's jersey number. The band also helped establish the Brook Berringer Memorial Scholarship at the University of Nebraska.
