King Of Fuh:Brute Force

Artist: Brute Force

Album: King Of Fuh b/w Nobody Knows single

Appears On (Mixes): Wally's Novelty Mix: She Yo-Yos Me and I Yo-Yo Her Back; Hobotic Mixed CDs Volumes 1-5

Song Notes: Wally's Novelty Mix: She Yo-Yos Me and I Yo-Yo Her Back: This comes from probably the rarest Apple Records release ever. I'm not sure whether or not it even came out, actually. I think this mp3 is taken from an acetate of that single, in fact. This is the first of two Brute Force songs on here. He put out a couple of records, and in so doing, got discovered by The Beatles (I seem to think George Harrison in particular, but I could be misremembering), who wanted to work with him. So, George Martin produced this single (if you couldn't tell from the sound and arrangement), but, of course, it didn't get any airplay or anything and it had the misfortune of being made as The Beatles were imploding and suing each other and all that sort of fun stuff, so if it even made it out (which I can't remember if it did), it was basically buried, and became sort of a cult item. It's a really cool song, and surprisingly pretty and profound in a screwy sort of way. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
