Band Biography[]
Pere Ubu formed in 1976 from the wreckage of Rocket From The Tombs (the other half of which became the Dead Boys). Pere Ubu has gone through a myriad of lineup changes, though it has focused around the hulking figure and unique voice of David Thomas. They've run the gamut from dark, epic punk tracks, to idiosyncratic pop.
