Biography[]
Richard Carpenter was one half of The Carpenters, and with his sister Karen wrote some of the Carpenters songs. He also took a more involved role in the production side of things. After Karen Carpenter's death, he has done work with other artists (including, most recently, doing the string arrangement on "Gomenasai" by t.A.T.u.) in production, arrangements and performing.
