Time (Pink Floyd)
Time is a single from 1973 of the British group Pink Floyd and appeared on the album The Dark Side of The Moon. It is the only song where all four are mentioned the names of the band members. The song is introduced by a half minutes ticking and clinking of different clocks, recorded by Alan Parsons. Then it takes another 2 minutes before the song really starts. This 2-minute be filled with simple rhythmic figures and long notes. David Gilmour takes after the verses for itself, Richard Wright the bridge sections. A female sings backing vocals during the bridge with it. Gilmour then takes the chorus for itself, but does this completely instrumental in his style. The song ends in a reprise of Breathe, the opening track of the plate.
