Review[]

The second official Young Fresh Fellows release finds the trio a foursome with Jim Sangster on bass, moving Scott McCaughey up to rhythm guitar. In the liners to the 2-fer CD of this record packaged with The Fabulous Sounds Of The Pacific Northwest, Scott McCaughey says this is his favorite Fellows record, and it is a damn good one. This one has a few covers, including the first of their many Sonics covers, "You've Got Your Head On Backwards". Also, check out "Trek To Stupidity" where they out-Ween Ween before Ween was really Ween...ing. This album would definitely be essential and a fine place to start even if it weren't available on the same disc as the first record—but since it IS, what are you waiting for? Get this CD! - Rev.
