Transmission IV - Moonloop:Porcupine Tree
Artist: Porcupine Tree
Date Released: December, 2001
Produced By: Steven Wilson
Reviews: Moonloop is a long and spacey improvisation of which the first half was used for the improvised segment of The Sky Moves Sideways, with the second half developing the improvisation into other areas including ideas and themes which were later used to influence Stars Die. The original release, Transmission IV - Moonloop, the last transmission, was only available to P Tree subscribers and is the most sort after release by the band. This vinyl re-run is set to become as rare as the original release and is on the bands former Delerium label, with both Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree band members 'not party' to the re-issue.
The vinyl version is on a strictly limited run, and is presented on 12 white vinyl and housed in a 12 inch purple PVC sleeve with the original moon cover design on it. The white 12 disk is visible from outside the sleeve and provides a backing colour for the printed moon image on the sleeve.
