Under a Blood Red Sky is a recording of a live performance from 1983 by the Irish band U2.


Under a Blood Red Sky contains recordings from three different live performances in Boston and Red Rocks, Sankt Goarshausen in Germany, however, state that the album is on Edition included in Red Rocks. The video Edition is, however, entirely recorded in Red Rocks, and thanks to the environment there, the rain and the décor got the video much familiarity. Rolling Stone Magazine calls this action one of the fifty most influential events of pop music. The title of the album comes from the eponymous line from New year's Day from the album War. The album contains the famous phrase, This is not a rebel songin the beginning of Sunday Bloody Sunday. Also know as the "rare tracks" Trash, Trampoline and the Party Girl, usually simply called Party Girl , a b-side of the single A Celebration, released between October and War. Also on Under a Blood Red Sky 11 O'Clock Tick Tock played. This song was never released on album, but in the early days of U2 this was their biggest hit and was played twice per often occur, including one as an encore.
