Vincent is a song by the American singer Don McLean. It is on his album American Pie, which was released on 24 October 1971. The song is an ode to the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. In 1972 it was a number one hit in the United Kingdom. Castles in the air was on the b-side of the single.
