Just as Coma Divine should be a fixture in the collection of any early PT fan, anybody who enjoys later Porcupine Tree should own Warszawa. The material on here is almost entirely from Stupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun, and is all performed exceptionally. Whereas Coma Divine was all about psychedelic jamming, what makes Warszama such a worthwhile purchase is the sheer intensity of the performance. Sure tracks like "Slave Called Shiver" and "Russia On Ice" haven't changed that much from their original incarnations, but the band performs them incredibly in a live setting, and every song on here is done fantastically. Plus, as a treat for fans of their older stuff, they throw on "Voyage 34" and "Signify" at the end, both of which allow for a little bit more improvisation. This album is a bit hard to find, so if you're not a Porcupine Tree fan you don't really need it, but any fans of the group should by all means go through the effort of finding this excellent live album.
